From Josh Armentrout, Unaka High School Agricultural Instructor and Drop Collaborative Coordinator: "We were able to donate our vegetables today at Carter Christian Church. It was an awesome experience. Mrs. Loveless (Unaka High School CTE Principal) and myself took our vegetables to the church. Along with donations from other sources, and a big help from Second Harvest Food Bank, we were able to help feed around 55 families in the Unaka community. With that said, each family probably averaged four members. I feel confident in saying that over 200 people benefited from today's donations. Next month we plan on taking all seniors involved in the Drop Collaborative to help with this outreach. Thanks again for allowing us this opportunity." And all of us involved with the Drop Collaborative thank Josh and his students for making this happen!
