Coding events showcase computer sciences, aid in creating gender parity
Building a website can be a daunting task for people who lack experience in coding. With this in mind, ETSU’s department of computing is hosting two coding events this week targeted at middle and high school students, 100 Girls of Code and Code Camp.
The 100 Girls of Code event was designed to generate gender parity in a field that is predominately populated by men, while Code Camp is meant to generate awareness of the computer sciences field.
