We have a monthly PLC (Professional Learning Community) after school and we discuss pertinent things that relate to our school, etc. This month, I asked Mrs. Oliver, Unaka High School Principal, if we could have the PLC at the farm so that all of the teachers could see the great things that our students have access to through the SAE (Supervised Agricultural Experience). Everyone was very complimentary about the farm and its surroundings and they enjoyed the outing. We took everyone on a bus and we roasted hotdogs and ate while we talked about the things on our agenda for the month. Everyone enjoyed it and had great things to say about it!
