    A Day in the Life of a DC SAE Student

    Some of the things we have recently accomplished at the farm... First, we have fertilized the pasture fields applying 2,650 pounds of 19-19-19 fertilizer (this leaves us 350 pounds for the garden). We have also installed a new headgate and repaired the chute to where it is safer and more efficient to operate. We have de-wormed and de-liced the heifers we purchased earlier in the year, as well as vaccinated each one. The garden is ready to be tilled and will be done so either
